This is the pride and iconic train at the Illinois Railway Museum; the St. Louis San Francisco 2-10-0 Decapod #1630.
It was built by Baldwin in 1918 for the Russian Government as a broad gauge engine but kept in the USA due to the Russian Revolution.
Converted into a standard gauge locomotive, the 1630 was brought to the Pennsylvania Railroad before it was sold to the St Louis San Francisco railway.
It worked on mixed traffic runs until the 1950's when the Eagle-Picher purchased the 1630 for use hauling lead ore to a smelting plant.
Eventually, it was sold to the Illinois Railway Museum where it operated back-and-forth runs to this very day as the star of the museum.
